BSc Major Project

Newport Fashion School

4400m2

2007

A third year major project, Newport Fashion School resulted in a building that enabled a multitude of events – identified and introduced from a detailed study of the surrounding city – to occur in and around the primary function, enabling juxtoposition on a number of different social, cultural and economic levels. The existing school programme was analysed meticulously in order to inform the proposed spatial arrangement as well as the relationship with the newly introduced and additional public elements of the scheme.
